This food has a lot of controversy, on whether how much to eat or not to eat at all. Through my education, my personal research and observing what works for our family, I highly recommend organic, pastured (free-range) and humanely-raised eggs. While cage-free is good, it does not mean the chickens have access to outdoors, so that is why pastured (free-range) is important.
When chickens are properly raised and the eggs meet these requirements, they are healthy sources of nutrients and complete proteins, which mean they provide the 8 essential amino acids that are essential to the building and repair for your skin, organs, muscles, support memory development, good eyesight and cardiovascular health.
