Healthy Natural Toothpaste

Healthy Natural Toothpaste

Did you know that each tooth is connected to a different organ in the body? Did you know that when searching for a dentist you should look for a biological dentist? Oral health is extremely important!
My husband and I have never agreed on toothpaste. We’ve always had our own and since we don’t have a double vanity, it’s a little annoying, until now… folks, we finally have a winner! One we both agree on Game changer!!! The texture, the taste, the ingredients are all good! I’m for ingredients, my husband is about texture so this is a win, win!!! Then, for a mouthwash all you do is add 1 drop on OnGuard oil into an 8oz glass of water and bam There you have it! Safe and effective.
Make sure you alway look for FLUORIDE FREE, no artificial colors/dyes, flavors or sweeteners, no preservatives, no SLS (sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates), no saccharin and no propylene glycol.

Healthy Laundry Detergent

Healthy Laundry Detergent

There are many laundry detergents on the market these days, but not all that are marketed as “natural” are in fact non-toxic. As mentioned before, make sure to check all products on the EWG website to lookup the products that are in your home. Laundry detergents are mostly chemicals with synthetic scents, which are big no-nos. In addition to the detergents, dryer sheets are equally as toxic! Dryer sheets are laced with chemicals such as carcinogens, VOCs, and hazardous air pollutants that cause respiratory problems, skin irritants, headaches, hormone imbalances and more.

I highly recommend using a plant-based detergent that are unscented or if you like your laundry to have a fresh scent you can find ones with essential oils. These detergents won’t pollute your indoor air quality like commercial brands. I also recommend WOOL dryer balls. Not only are wool dryer balls non-toxic, but they also cut down on drying time by 25%. Plus, a pack of dryer balls can be used hundreds of times so will last for about a year and you can add a drop or 2 of essential oils directly onto the dryer balls for a fresh scent too.
